I have problem in connecting matlab 2014a(64-bit) and arduino uno when I enter >>a=arduino() after some time it gives an error:

"Updating server code on Arduino Uno (COM3). Please wait." then

avr-gcc application failed dialog box appear with error code 0xc0000142 when I click ok then in command window appear: "Cannot program Arduino board Uno (COM3). Please make sure the board is supported and the port and board type are correct."

my arduino port is com26.

Given that it is attempting to communicate with the wrong port number, have you tried entering the port number manually in the function? and mentioning the appropriate board name?

>> a = arduino('COM3','Uno')

Make sure to create a restore point just in case something goes wrong. Also, after trying each Method on your system with different router settings, please check if you’re able to Fix Application Error 0xc0000142 or not.
