When using the code generator, how can I exclude definitions that are already made in a different header file?

When I use the code generator, some definitions are already in a different header file that I've already made, but excluding those definitions in my code will result in an error saying that a certain variable is not defined. Is there a way to make the code generator not #define constant variables that are already defined in a different header file? Can I include said header file into Simulink so the code generator knows which definitions to exclude?

1) If a header file is not defined, the #define constant variables in these header files should not be included.
