matlab doesn't support symbolic path in windows 10

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello. When matlab build c s-function in simulink, if matlab root folder name is with blank, it occurs that compiler cannot support the long path and come to errors. In windows 8/8.1, I used mklink to create short symbolic path to replace the original path and it's ok. If start matlab from the new short path, matlabroot command shows the new short one regardless of the original. However, nowadays, in windows 10 this method seems to be invalid. Whatever new symbolic path I create, matlab recognizes the original path with blank, so the c-fucntion compiler still cannot work properly. Thank you.

It took me a moment, but I now understand that you are talking about the case where a folder has a space in the name.
