How to detect change when a block parameter is modified?

I would like to be able to constrain Simulink block parameters (any parameters displayed by get(gcbh)) to only allowable values so that when wrong values are entered, a warning will be generated. Is there a callback function that is invoked when someone changes a block parameter (such as OverrideUsingVariant)?

not sure, but check if you can use event listeners.
