can we make a simmechanics animation draw the path traced by its joints?

I had made a simmechanic model of a slidercrank mechanism and I want to know the trajectory followed by the joints or any selected point. Is it possible to do it in the simmechanic animation? I am using a haptic device to control the motion of the joints. Is it possible to display the motion in the simmechanics animation as a dot so that I could find how well the model follows the haptic device?

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot display the path traced by the point in the visualisation window. However, you could tap the joint or body block (1G), or add a frame (2G), and use the output to plot this in a new window. The outputs can be written to a file for later analyses.
