Problem installing toolbox in MATLAB R2014a (Ubuntu)

1 view (last 30 days)
I have MATLAB R2014 installed in Ubuntu 14.04. I want to isntall the toolbox "gm/ID Assistant Toolbox". According to the documentation in the website, it says that I should only open the .mltbx from Matlab making sure that the file is inside the path, and then the installer will appear.
However, when I double click in the file, the file gets opened in the editor and only gibberish can be read. Not installer pops up. What should I do?
I have not been able to find installation instruction not even in the .zip version of this toolbox.

I assume you are trying to download and install from the following link:
If the installer is not working, you can download the zipped folder and extract them into a folder and then add the folder to the MATLAB path.
Now all the functions present in gm/ID Assistant Toolbox are ready to be used.
I hope this helps you.
