Hi everyone,
Can anyone please explain me how sliceomatic work and how can I plot my data set using sliceomatic function.
Thanks in advance

Dear Arora,
Slicomatic is a GUI tool in the file exchange where you can make isosurfaces and slices of a plot. Also if you have for example a function v=f(x,y,z), and you want to draw a 2D plot, (i.e. the xy plane at z=3) where the value v is a certain value, you may see a line. (isosurface). Or if you want to plot the values at only a certain z=3, you can make a slice.
An example is shown in the m-file of the file exchange.
A second possibility is if you use the MATLAB functions " isosurface" and " slice". Example how to use these functions are shown in the documentation.
Good luck! Christiaan

Dear Christiaan, Thank you very much for your reply. I have 3 profiles for an area, Each profile contains x, z, and density values. One profile is at y=1; another is at y= 5; 7. Now I want to plot my data for each profile at different y locations. Can you please suggest me how can I do this?

Dear Arora,
If you use the GUI tool "Slicomatic", normally all variables are in the function workspace. Therefore you don't 'see' any variables. A method to solve is, is using the assigning function. You can just put the line anywhere in the code of sliceomatic.m and then you can save a certain variable. (use a debugger to find the correct data of the plot). A second possibility would be to use global variables.
Kind regards, Christiaan
