Exporting eeg data from eeg lab to use it in spm12

Does somebody know in which file format I have to export eeg data from eeglab when I want to further analyse it with spm12?

Can you clarify your question? What's your expected workflow by exporting EEG data to SPM? The signal types they mainly deal with are very different. In short, EEGLAB deals with signals from EEG electrodes from scalp, SPM deals with (functional) MRI images which are mainly 3D brain images.

It's worth clarifying that SPM has an EEG mode. It uses the same machinery as was developed for fMRI but derives images from EEG data for analyses such as time/frequency and source reconstruction.

As for a conversion, the only thing I can think of is that SPM and EEGLAB both share code with FieldTrip, so I have in the past used eeglab2fieldtrip() and then spm_eeg_ft2spm(). It's not perfect and some data can get lost (e.g. the 2D Plot locations), but it's not too much of a problem if you know about it and copy this data over manually.
