Problem setting up Matlab Drive Connector

12 views (last 30 days)
Hi everyone,
a couple of days ago Matlab Drive stopped working on one of my computers, it asked me to set it up again. But when I try to do it, it gets stuck when it asks me to select the folder location. I am choosing the one where it was syncing before, which already contains most of the files, but once I click 'next', nothing happens, no matter how long I wait. I left it like that yesterday afternoon and this morning did not change anything. I have tried to reinstall Matlab Drive Connector, but that will not fix the problem.
What can be causing it? How can I solve it?
Best regards,
Pablo

MATLAB Drive for MacOS and Linux writes .MATLABDriveAppData and .MATLABDriveTag files into each directory as it gets synchronized, so a trick to force re-synchronization is to remove those files
I do not know what the corresponding file names are for Windows.

Hi Pablo,
I understand that when re-setting up MATLAB Drive on your system, you are facing an issue in selecting the location of the folder for syncing files. You can refer the following steps:
  1. Exit MATLAB Drive Connector
  2. Uninstall it using the Windows Add/Remove Program window
  3. Rename or remove the MATLAB Drive folder
  4. Rename or remove the MATLAB Connector root folder (Found on Windows here: "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\MathWorks\MATLABConnector")
  5. Clear out the installer's downloads folder.
  6. Reinstall MATLAB Drive Connector
Also note that some of the above folders are not directly visible as they are hidden, so make sure to unhide them and then delete them before re-installing.
Please refer the following documentation for further details:
