View custom MATLAB documentation in an external web browser with Table of Contents

When writing custom documentation for a MATLAB toolbox following the instructions here, the individual .html files are rendered nicely in the MATLAB help browser with a table of contents on the left (which is generated from helptoc.xml). I would also like to publish my documentation to the web. Is there a way that the same documentation can be viewed in an external web browser, inluding the table of contents?

Hi Bradley,
As per my understanding, you are trying to open customized documentation page, including the Table of Contents, in an external browser. I tried to reproduce the same but could not find any approach to achieve it.
However, as a workaround, you can generate your own custom HTML Documentation by utilizing Live Scripts and the MATLAB function 'publish'. This will enable you to create an HTML file for your customized documentation that can be viewed in any external browser.
For further details and additional information, you can consult the following documentation:

Thanks for your comment Gagan. I'm already using publish to create the .html files, but I'm looking for some way to display / generate the table of contents that is displayed in the help browser.
