I created a custom linktype using this the help of this example here. My question is how to generate an external URL that is going to carry out the Navigate function that I implemented in my "linktype_TEMPLATE.m" ?

Hi, to generate an external URL that triggers the `NavigateFcn` implemented in your custom link type, you can follow these steps:
1. Define the URL format: Decide on the format of the external URL that will carry out the `NavigateFcn`. For example, you could use a query parameter or a specific URL path to indicate the action.
2. Implement the `NavigateFcn`: Make sure you have implemented the `NavigateFcn` in your `linktype_TEMPLATE.m` file. This function should handle the logic to perform the desired navigation action.
3. Generate the external URL: Write a script or function that generates the external URL with the necessary parameters to trigger the `NavigateFcn`. This could involve concatenating strings, encoding parameters, or using a URL-building library.
4. Handle the URL in your application: In your application or website, you need to handle the incoming URL and extract the necessary parameters to invoke the `NavigateFcn` . This may involve server-side routing or client-side JavaScript.
