For a school project we are provided with figures that open once a simulink model is run. My problem is that these displays do not refresh by themselves, the matlab code itself is running in the background and giving continuous values checked by scopes but only when i hover my mouse over the "displays" they show the current values. My teacher seems clueless and other people don't have that problem.
I already tried various model configs sample time etc
I would appreciate any help

Have you tried "clf" and the "close all" command?

Hello,
It is my understanding that figures in your Simulink model are not updating automatically, and you need to manually refresh them by hovering over them with your mouse. This is likely because the figures are not being updated by the Simulink model’s code.
To solve this issue, you can use “drawnow” function in MATLAB to force the figures to update. This function can be used to update the figures in your Simulink model. To know about “drawnow” function, please refer to the below link:
I hope this helps!

Nandini
