Why does my Speedgoat IO333-410K disappear?

I'm using several Speedgoat systems with IO333-410K boards installed. I intermittently get an error when I try to load code on the Speedgoat machine. The machine refuses to recognize the existence of the board. So far, I've been able to "fix" the problem with a reboot (sometimes several reboots), but I'm concerned. This problem is not with just with one machine; rather, I've seen it on three systems. Anyone know what's going on? Anyone know what to do about it?

Hi, can you share the exact error message you are getting in this case and steps to reproduce the issue. This will help the contributors to understand the issue better and resolve it.

Hi James,
To address intermittent hardware detection issues with your IO333-410K boards on multiple Speedgoat systems, you can follow these steps:
  • Ensure all boards are properly seated and cables are secure.
  • Keep the firmware for the Speedgoat systems and IO333-410K boards up to date, along with any necessary drivers.
  • Look for error messages that could indicate the cause of the issue.
  • Verify compatibility of your MATLAB version with the Speedgoat hardware and ensure Simulink Real-Time is correctly configured.
  • Isolate the issue by testing each board in a known good system.
  • Check for EMI or environmental factors that could affect the hardware.
  • Look for background processes or resource conflicts that might prevent hardware detection.
