Is it possible to restore MATLAB warnings to factory default?

My co-worker has just showed me how the onCleanup work. It is a solution (but too much work).
I guess I am just surprised MATLAB does not have a function to do that. I guess I will just write my own matlab function and save the warning state in the function's persistent variable.

The OnCleanup function is mentioned in the documentation I linked to.
Whatever works in your environment is the best option.
Also consider making that part of your startup.m file. That might be easier than a persistent variable (unless there’s something I’m not understanding about this problem).
