I want to build a graph of this equation

where phi0=pi/3. and it's graph is like

but I am getting an error " not enough input arguments'. Please help me to resolve the error. Below is my code
clear all; close all; clc;
phi=0.9*pi;
phi0=pi/3;
PHI=0:2*pi;
%%PRC Type-1:
z=[1-cos*(phi)]*exp*{3*[cos*(phi-phi0)-1]};
% Plot the signal versus time:
figure;
plot(PHI,z);
