Show older comments
I have an ASCII file with text and numbers for example,
(Well, I dont know if it is called an ASCII file or not. Anyway I dont have a delimiter to separate the columns.)
123 456789455 667847457ddf55847
1 443467 894 55667847457ydf55554
4677 67894556 678474457ddf35847
144 3467 659455 66787457ydf12555
I want to read it as
12 3 45 678 9455 6 6784 7457 ddf 55847
1 44 34 67 894 556 6784 7457 ydf 55554
46 77 6 789 4556 6 7847 4457 ddf 35847
14 4 34 67 6594 55 6678 7457 ydf 12555
Thank you,
Kadeesa.

You will pretty much have to read it as a character array, extract the columns you want, and convert them to numeric (or not).
