Frequency band - how to determine this using matlab

I am trying to use a frequency domain technique in order to find displacement from accelerator data I am trying to Convert the transformed accel. data to displacement data by dividing each element by -omega^2, where omega is the frequency band after applying FFT to my data, however, I am not sure how to find the frequency band? is it literally the f value corresponding to each intensity?
