Silent deploy of Matlab 2011 a

I manage a PC room and I have been silently deploying matlab 2010a without any problems. When changing to 2011a, I followed the instructions on
but matlab seems to just ignore the -inputFile switch and just start up the manual installation. I tried with both the silent and the automatic options in the txt file.
Any ideas?

I use the silent installer quite frequently and I know it works.
You might want to make sure your text file is really a text file and hasn't been saved in some non-text format that can't be parsed. One common thing that occasionally "gets me" is when Windows has "hide extensions for known file types" enabled in the Folder View options, so the file is really "filename.txt.doc" or "filename.txt.txt".

It might also be related to the file permissions (i.e., can you read the file from the account your are installing from).

I would suggest contacting customer support at TMW directly. I was able to install r2011a silently under Linux. Are you using the r2010a file or did you make a new one? I am not sure if any of the fields/values changed, but it might be the problem.
