Titling figures from 1 till 20.

I am plotting 20 figures on one big figures. I need to title each image by "image i", so that 'i' is 1,2,3....20 depending on the order of image. (example: 'image 1', 'image 2', 'image 3'.... 'image 20')

Does anybody know how to make it?
