Matlab with Amazon EC2

I'd like to connect my matlab with Amazon EC2
Now, I can connect to the server with PUTTY now. However I don't know how to connect it with my matlab(R2013a)
I tried to discover cluster but Amazon server was not detected. I found the manual provided my mathworks. But I cannot do further. It says I have to install matlab on my server but I don't understand how to do it.
Can anyone help me out?

I think you need to buy either the Parallel Computing Toolbox or the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server. See:

I have Parallel Computing Toolbox, but still the EC2 is not discovered...

Maybe there is a way without buying Parallel Computing Toolbox or the MATLAB Distributed Computing Server.
