Hexagon® eNPU or Qualcomm AI Engine Direct backends
The Embedded Coder® Support Package for Qualcomm Hexagon Processors supports deploying code to eNPU and also to QNN backends. The eNPU is an evolution of Qualcomm's Hexagon processor family, which has traditionally been a DSP (Digital Signal Processor). The Qualcomm AI Engine Direct provides a single set of APIs that can target different hardware cores. This allows developers to write a single AI application and then choose at runtime which backend (CPU, Hexagon NPU (HTP), or LPAI) to use for the AI inference.
