The Senior Sales Manager will be based in Beijing and is responsible for maximizing the sales performance in the North and West of China. The Senior Sales Manager will work with other technical/Consulting and marketing team managers to maximize the Beijing Commercial Sales team’s efficiency, while closely liaising with headquarters and other APAC offices. The Sales Manager will have a particular focus on new business generation and will address the market potential and sales strategies required to balance the sales focus on large account development and the pursuit of the small and medium size enterprises, especially within emerging market segments.
• Lead and manage the sales team to enhance customer interactions and ensure alignment with business growth objectives in North and West of China.
• Drive sales management activities, including conducting weekly funnel meetings, sales strategy sessions, account planning, and customer engagements.
• Oversee the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets across key sectors and industries through effective team management.
• Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of team members, ensuring they reach their full potential and have clear career progression paths.
• Formulate and oversee comprehensive account plans for major customers within the territory, ensuring strategic alignment and execution.
• As a core member of the China Management Team, collaborate with Application Engineering, Consulting, Marketing, and other relevant departments to strategize and implement business initiatives, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company in China.
• BA/BS in Business or Technical Discipline
• More than 5 years experience in a sale management role
• Experience selling technology oriented products/solutions
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Strong sales planning, negotiating, proposal writing, and account management skills
• Experience working in a foreign company
