This is intended for biologists to visualize a 3D animal path in the ocean or air. The function requires two separate matrices as inputs:
(1)[Time,Latitude,Longitude] e.g. a satellite track

(2)[Time,Depth or Altitude] e.g. time-depth recorder data

The output is a zipped KML file (KMZ) that can be opened directly in google earth.

**Requires the matlab mapping toolbox (although the code could be altered to eliminate this requirement)

IMPORTANT NOTE: the "terrain" option must be enabled in google earth to visualize the third dimension!
