Transfer my licence from my laptop to my PC

Hello there,

I have a student licence for MATLAB and installed it on my Laptop. Since I got an issue with my laptop I am going to install the MATLAB along with some packages on my PC. How can I do this tranfer? Is it possible? I appreciate it if anybody can help me.

Deactivate the license on the laptop; https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/100663-how-do-i-deactivate-matlab?s_tid=ta_ans_results

Then install on the Pc.

Note: you can transfer licenses to a new computer a limited number of times per year (historically 4 times). The exception is that if you need to get a computer repaired and then move the license back, then Mathworks will be willing to reset the count, if you present proof of repair.
