Hello,
Does anyone have any experience on how to connect MATLAB with DIgSILENT Powerfactory or NEPLAN?
Both software allow advanced power system analysis and my idea was to allow MATLAB to communicate with one of these software, which would allow me to set up the data and perform optimization procedures in MATLAB and use the output of one of the software.
Any documentation or tips from anyone who's done this kind of work earlier would be appreciated!

Hey Lazar,
If your software can set up analysis using input files(scripts/text) that would build model, run it, and generate results in text file, then yes, it's doable (hard way).
If your software has an API for communication with external applications, then you should do it that way (easy way).
