How to follow a SimScape Multibody model in Mechanics Explorer

19 views (last 30 days)
I made a model in SimScape Multibody with two connected bodies that moves along +X and I would like to capture the movement of the simulation by following the two bodies together (they are linked together) from top view. I already found this page:
But I couldn't get it to work by reading that page. Is there a better explanation or guide how to follow (and record) objects with Mechanics Explorer?
If it helps, below is a really simplified indication of how my model looks like. Movement along X is given in the planar joint. So the two solids I want to capture also move along X. They also have oscillating movement in Y. There is no movement in Z

I couldn't figure out how to use the Keyframes camera either. So I settle with the Tracking camera. The easiest way to track an object is to create a Reference Frame (the Camera Frame block in the following figure) that is attached to the object with an offset, then position the camera at the newly created Reference Frame and aim at the object in the camera manager. The offset determines the size of the object.
