Why is the Simulation Mode drop-down menu disabled in Simulink?

I would like to choose different Simulation modes such as Accelerator and Rapid Accelerator mode to speed up my Simulink simulation. However, the  drop-down menu to switch between Simulation Modes is greyed out. Why is this?

This is a limitation when using a home license. Accelerator and Rapid Accelerator simulation modes are not available with the Simulink home use license.
