Is it possible to restore a deleted mat file?

I accidently deleted a mat file. Is it possible to restore it?

Sorry, not through any method provided by Mathworks.

Your operating system or third-party utilities might provide undelete methods. Or perhaps your systems administrator happened to capture a copy of the file on a backup.
