Boolean to return true if the cell is empty/nan

15 views (last 30 days)
Hi, I am trying to write a boolean variable that tells me whether the cell is not nan or nan, but I got an error that says "undefined function 'isnan' for input arguments of type 'cell'".
while (not(isnan(AU(row+1, col)))) % While the next row is available, skip this row.
row = row + 1;
end
The value in the bracket is true if the next row (row+1) is not nan.
Please help me fix this.
thank you !

It would be easier if we had your code to work with.
Try this:
~isnan(AU{row+1, col})
Address the cell elements using {}.
