I have jpg images in separate training folder and test folder with subfolders according to their classes. I want to convert them into dataset but not the RGB values of image but the CEDD feature of each image. I have the implementation to calculate CEDD feature. but how to get each image and its label and also i want to randomly means that first image was from class 1 then second image from 3 . or can do it after extracting all images then random on labels as well as their features.

The question is not clear to me. You know how to calculate CEDD feature of an image, you want to do the same for multiple images, right?

dataset is an old, deprecated class and it's not recommended that you use it anymore. What other variable type would work for you? What is the CEDD feature? Can you stuff it into a regular double array?

Could you please clarify whether you aim to use the mentioned CEDD format output for multiple images and if you wish to do so, are you open to use other data types?
