Error when fsolve in optimization toolbox calls optimget in 2018b

1 view (last 30 days)
I recently upgraded my Matlab and I had to run an old code after a long time and I am getting an error in fsolve for optimget having too many inputs. I am having a hard time believing that it is an error in my code on how it calls fsolve, considering that it is crashing for optimget within the fsolve code having too many input arguments. I had a similar issue when another code used fminunc. I am sure if I tweak this line in fsolve, I might be able to make it work. But I am afraid that this might have an unintended impact on some other code that uses fsolve.
Please help
Thanks
Rajesh

At the command line, execute
>> which -all optimget
and show us the result.

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked up fsolve, but I forgot to do the same for optimget. Sorry, I had to hide part of the path because this is a code that is written within my company. But now I see two locations that has the same code. So do I have to remove the path for the other tool altogether to make it work this tool?

Yes, or rename it.
