Differentiating between 2 spectrums of musical instruments using PWELCH Function

Hey guys, I am reading a mp3 file using audioread which contains a couple of musical instruments,working in different spectrums. Is it possible to differntiate between the 2 instruments using the pwelch function and plotting it properly?
