SimMechanichs 2G works well but what the problem with Simscape Multibody?

Hello to all,

I have a problem with the export from inventor2017 to MatlabR2017b while it works very well with R2014b.

Parts are not visible in the mechanics explorer and I have strange variables instead of the masses of parts.

If somebody could help me, I would be very grateful to him(her) for it.

Hi - from your screenshot, it appears the export from the CAD system resulted in file names that have characters that MATLAB cannot interpret if they are within a file name. If you rename the files to use only letters (for example) and enter the new name into the Solid block, the model should open and run. A more robust solution would be to ensure that the names of the parts in your CAD model use only characters that MATLAB can handle in file names.
