I have only 2 computer running Matlab, both PCs. Want to install it on my new Apple Mac Pro but error above appears. I had it previously installed on my two sons Apple Mac notebooks to learn them Matlab but removed it due to lack of interest from their side.
Is it limited to 2 computer installations ? Previously I had 3 installations. Could be that the user name should be exactly the same as in the previous installations?

See this Answer from MathWorks Support Team. It describes how to deactivate a license even if you don't have the computer on which the license was previously activated.
