How can I show spheres "rolling" around in animation?

Hello everyone,

I am generating a visual of spheres "bouncing" around like soccer balls. Reference the animations in the ZIP file and the code. I am able to plot the spheres using the "sphere" function. However, I do not know how to visualize the rotation. Is there a way to color the spheres such that it is easy to see it rotate? Also, what would be a good way to apply the rotation to the sphere? Thanks.

Looks like, if I add the function shading (see below), it gives it color. Reference the updated v2 ZIP file version. However, I cannot get it to rotate. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
