How to run simulink inside .m file? how to export simulink results in excel?

I need to run simulink file from a m.file and then after I should export the results in excel, can you pls help me

set_param(bdroot, 'SimulationCommand', 'Start');
set_param(bdroot, 'SimulationCommand', 'Stop');
xlswrite(filename,A);
