I have made a gui which runs with the help of some user written matlab functions in MATLAB 2013a. I would like to know whether there is a way to make this gui program to run by its oen without running by the m-file.
Like a exe file.
Please help me with this problem.
I think I have to have something called a compiler. Please tell me how to get that also.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Buddhini - in order to create a standalone GUI, you will need the MATLAB Compiler. Information on this product can be found at MATLAB Compiler Documentation.

I can't understand the process to follow just by reading this documentation. But I did run the mcc command by typing as mcc -m My_M_FILE.m but it did't work out properly.
Is there any other method?
Please also note that my first gui opens a uitable when I press a button and also there is another gui that I want to make in to an .exe format which opens a new gui when a button is pressed. Then is there another method.
Thanks a lot in advance.

What happened when you ran mcc?
