custom UAV vehicle simulation scene views in UE4.27

Hi,
While conducting UAV simulation using MATLAB/Simulink 2023b and Unreal Engine 4.27, I added a custom UAV model and selected the "vehicle name" for the scene view. Upon starting the simulation, I noticed that the perspective was underneath the UAV's fuselage (possibly perspective 5). I attempted to switch to perspective 2 as instructed in the tutorial, but pressing the numeric keypad had no effect.

Hello! I just wanted to clarify whether you are adding this custom UAV model using the Simulaion 3D UAV Vehicle, or are you adding this custom mesh using the Simulation 3D Actor?
When using the latter, the predefined perspectives do not apply. When using the former, here is the workflow: https://www.mathworks.com/help/uav/ug/prepare-custom-vehicle-mesh-for-the-unreal-editor.html.
If using the Simulation 3D Actor, one workaround is to create another empty actor parented to your UAV, and with a desired offset from your UAV then select this actor as your scene view, so that your custom actor comes into view the way that you want.
Hope that helps!

Hello, it is a little tricky to investigate this issue here. Please email support@mathworks.com to receive additional assistance, and if possible, please share your custom mesh so that we can replicate the issue and understand why the custom views are not working. My apologies that I could not be of more help here.
