use of Fast fourier transform block in simulink

5 views (last 30 days)
I Made a model for inverter and i want to perform fourier transform on output and also make spectrem analysis for this analysis but i can't use the block FFT and there is no info for it in the help of the simulink
i attached the model ..can any one know how to use this block FFT

This block gives you the FFT spectrum at appropriate intervals and displays in a figure. It also displays the detailed rms values such as rms for fundamental, harmonics, total etc.
This is a vectorized block. Yoy need to mention the no of signlas you want to considr for FFT in input signal dimension in parameter dialog box. Also consider the output as vectozied and process accordingly. This block is especially useful in case of running RMS calculations and Spectrum analysis. In case you need an off line specrum analysis, you can save your scoped variable and later use a power gui to see FFT Analysis.

the input signal i have is continous but it need discrete input when i made solver and the powergui is discrete errors occure

This particular block fft works for continuous signlas as well. PFA for the simulation done with continuous signal.
Can u give the snap shot of the error encountered?
