How to implement PSO in any filtering technique?

Particle swarm approach is and optimization technique. It has been widely used to appraise the resulting values in image processing. In non local means, i m trying to incorporate PSO to settle the parameter value and also to obtain the most optimal value for best results. I have also read a paper which acts as a motivation for my work.
