I am currently a college student. If I bought it for a student, will I not be able to use that license when I graduate?

That is correct. You are no longer allowed to use the student license if you are no longer a student. If you become a student again, you may use it again.

Right. The license does not get revoked when you graduate, but it does get suspended, and can be resumed if you enroll as a student again at some point.
