I am trying to run the software Osprey which runs through Matlab. I am following the Osprey documentation and it says to simply run the command "Osprey" and the GUI should pop up so I can analyze some data. However, when I run it, I get the following ouput:
>> Osprey
Timestamp June 16, 2022 11:18:43 Osprey 2.2.0 OspreyGUI
Unable to resolve the name uiw.utility.loadIcon.
Error in Osprey (line 31)
logoBanner = uiw.utility.loadIcon(logoFcn);
I looked into the Osprey code as pointed out in the error (line 31), and this is the code for lines 30 and 31:
logoFcn = @()imread('osprey.png', 'BackgroundColor', gui.colormap.Background);
logoBanner = uiw.utility.loadIcon(logoFcn);
Could someone please help me with this? I have never used Matlab before, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Lucas and Charlotte,
I have exactly the same message coming up on Matlab 2024b and I already install the Widget Toolbox (the new version).
Do you have any more ideas on what could help?
Kind Regards
Jessica

I added the newest widgets one, but had the same issue, When I installed the older Widgets Compatibility Toolbox, it worked. Hope this helps...
