Problem with the curfit app

Hi I does anyone have any insight into why my curvefit app crashes and how to fix it. I am teaching a course in using Matlab in biochemistry and genetic research. I typically do not use the app myself, but it was suggested that this would be easier for the students. I can launch the app and everything is fine until I try to define the x data from the workspace. I can see the appropriate variables and upon clicking on one it crashes. Same happens when I try to click the y variables first. I have this running on several other computers and it does not happen. Is there anyway to fix the issue?

Not my are of expertise, but things we would want to know are:

1. Version differences between MATLAB on the computers it works on and the one that it doesn’t (and any other differences that might be relevant)
2. Posting (attaching) the code your app uses
