Description

Specify the communication clock frequency used by the ST-LINK debugger.

Settings

4000 (default) | integer

Use the Frequency (kHz) parameter to set the SWD or JTAG communication speed between the host computer and the target device during debugging and deployment. Higher frequencies can reduce download and programming times, while lower frequencies can improve connection reliability on some hardware configurations.

This setting affects only the debug/programming interface and does not affect the execution speed of the deployed application.
