Automatically allocate static memory

Automatically allocate static memory for buffers used in external mode communication.

Category: Code Generation > Interface

Default: on

When an external mode simulation runs, the software uses model information, including the Maximum duration value, to determine and allocate the static memory required for external mode communication buffers.

Use the Static memory buffer size field to specify memory allocation for external mode communication.

  • Setting Transport layer to XCP on TCP/IP or XCP on Serial enables this parameter.

  • Enabling this parameter enables Maximum duration.

  • Disabling this parameter enables Static memory buffer size.
