Hardware Support

STMicroelectronics Support from Embedded Coder

Generate code for STMicroelectronics processors.

MATLAB Coder™, Simulink Coder™, and Embedded Coder® generate ANSI/ISO C/C++ code that can be compiled and executed on STMicroelectronics®  processors. Embedded Coder lets you easily configure the code generated from MATLAB® and Simulink® algorithms to control software interfaces, optimize execution performance, and minimize memory consumption.

Supported Hardware

MATLAB Coder™Simulink Coder™, and Embedded Coder® generate ANSI/ISO C/C++ code that can be compiled and executed on any Microcontrollers, including the devices listed below:

Legacy MCUs STM8 8-bit MCUs STM32 32-bit ARM Cortex-M MCUs 32-bit Automotive MCUs
ST6/7/9 STM8AF Series STM32F0 Series SPC56x
STR7/9 STM8AL Series STM32F1 Series SPC57
ST 10 STM8L Series STM32F2 Series SPC58
ST 40 STM8S Series STM32F3 Series
  STM8T Series STM32F4 Series
    STM32L1 Series

You can also use Embedded Coder to customize the generated code specifically for STMicroelectronics processors using published APIs and reference examples. For example, you can generate processor-specific (non- ANSI) optimized code and perform processor-in-the-loop (PIL) testing with execution profiling.

With the exception of the Nucleo and Discovery Boards, MathWorks does not offer an Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package for the devices listed on this page. STMicroelectronics offers a broad range of STM32 support with its STM32 Embedded Target for MATLAB and Simulink.

Other Third Party Connection hardware and software products may exist, and MathWorks Consulting Services is available to aid with hardware integrations.
