About the Presenter

Antti Löytynoja is a Senior Application Engineer at MathWorks, focusing on MATLAB -based workflows, including data analytics, machine learning and predictive maintenance. In addition, he spends much of his time helping MathWorks customers integrate their MATLAB algorithms into external applications. Antti has worked at MathWorks for over 15 years, and prior to joining the company, he worked as a researcher at Tampere University of Technology, studying applications of audio signal processing.

Laura Dempsey is an Application Engineering Manager at MathWorks, where she and her team is responsible for supporting technical engagements with Northern European customers across a diverse set of industries, including automotive, energy production, and medical devices. Before joining MathWorks in 2018, Laura worked in a variety of biological, chemical, and clinical research environments, including the NHS. Laura holds a BEng in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, an MPhil in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from University College London (UCL).
