This project shown a way to calibrate PI+D gains, by controlling a beam system. This project use Arduino, MATLAB, Simulink, and the real time functions implemented in simulink platform.
this project shown that using simulink with arduino is too simple, motivating the constant develop of control systems in schools and universities.
The control tools of matlab are very powerful, the increasing of open hardware community is an excellent way to create new projects and algorithms, the develop and the exploring the capabilities of Matlab has to be a constant effort. That community has a lot to give in this process.
