TransientPhotoconductivity
This is a suite of GUIs and calculators to model and fit transient photoconductivity data on thin film samples. The starting point is Luke and Cheng, JAP 61, 2282 (1987), and additional physics is added. The code was developed specifically to model optical-pump, THz-probe data on SnS thin films to extract bulk minority carrier lifetime, surface recombination velocity, and diffusivity parameters. Unique features include:
(1) Option of using analytic or numerical solver. The numerical solver allows nonlinear models to be tried for lifetime and diffusivity. Useful for measurements at high injection, or experiments with varying injection level.
(2) Ability to perform global fits over multiple datasets with the flexibility to couple, uncouple, fit, or fix different parameters.
Significant limitations include:
(1) Does not include drift currents. Implicitly assumes the absence of electric fields
(2) Does not include Auger recombination.
