How can I simulate a difference equation in Simulink?

1 view (last 30 days)
I have solved a difference equation, and now I need to "verify my solution using Simulink".
The difference equation is y[n+2] + 3y[n+1]+2y[n] = 0 with initial conditions y[-1]=0 and y[-2]=1
The solution I got was y[n] = 2(-2)^n - (-1)^n.
How do I take this information and put it in Simulink?

Use N delay blocks in tandem to create y(n-N).
